World Religion Day
Published: 13th January 2023
World Religion Day takes place annually on the third Sunday of every January and is celebrated across the globe. The day originated from the Baháʼí faith, which believes in the oneness of religion and spirituality across the world.
The aim is to celebrate our respective faiths and to help promote understanding and peace between people from different religions.
How can we all celebrate World Religion Day?
- Take the time to learn about different faiths from around the world
- Become aware of how many different religions there are, even the smaller, lesser-known ones
- Speak to others about their religion and take the time to speak to people about yours
We are proud to support colleagues who share different backgrounds, experiences and religious and non-religious beliefs. We understand how faith can be a source of strength and peace and value the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion.
